Have an offer in on a 50 year old house and the dry wall in the basement is bulging out towards the top of one of the walls where it meets the ceiling. Any thoughts? Foundation issue or just bad drywall job?

Is the foundation a concrete block wall?

Yes it is.

This is what comes to mind. I would suspect that the foundation is pushing the studs.
