My dryer hose has condensation running under the dryer, the lint is coming up weird onto the screen, the clothes aren't drying in three cycles. The dryer hose is straight up into the attic. I need guidelines to get the best out of my dryer and the hose.
A few questions and suggestions. First of all get rid of the hose and use metal vent, preferably the rigid not the flexible kind. And how long is the run? When you say into the attic you don't mean JUST into the attic, do you: it is vented outside, right? The condensation is probably caused by a blockage not allowing the vent to do it's job. It's a common problem with flexible tubing vents, not to mention the fire hazard they create. You need to rework the vent and eliminate any and all obstructions. Metal rigid duct will be much less problematic.
