Hello All, I am in the proccess of finishing my new home and have a problem. My laundry room has no exterior wall to vent my dryer. The house in on a crawl space. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
How about a roof top exhaust?
I just installed a bathroom fan with a roof vent. I would suggest that a dryer vent would be much the same.
If you live in a frosty area, the pipe must be insulated to prevent condensation from forming and running back inside.
I would say that there would be less a problem, than with a 60' horizontal run.
From time to time, it may be necessary to vacuum the pipe out with a Shop Vac.
Hopefully, it would be a straight up, vertical run.
Dryer vents do require cleaning on a regular basis!
