I couldn't figure why my dryer breaker kept popping about every 5 minutes. After putting 2 and 2 together I realized that it only happened when my central air was also running. I confirmed it by turning off the AC and the dryer ran through a complete 50 minute cycle. I have 200A service which I would think is enough.

Is there a logical reason for this? Is my breaker starting to fail?

I would replace the 30 amp dryer breaker.

the central air breaker or dryer breaker may have bad connection to the busbar and overheat a little, so when both runs it triggers the dryer breaker, check if they become very hot to the touch while air and dryer are running for a long time
