Will the location of these joists interfere with installation of a 2x4 LED pannel? There is about 2 3/4 inches between them and the ceiling frame.

Many panels are only 3/4" inch thick.

Panel will fit in there, but you will have to know where the junction box sits. This will sit higher than the panel and the joist may interfere.

Could get a wafer LED and that would fit with no issues.

I can't imagine anyone wanting to use troffler style lighting in a grid ceiling when so many more efficient lighting methods are available. I have been using canless recessed lighting for a while, now and they only weigh a few ounces and require no support on a 2x2 grid panel. They are LED, dimmable and adjustable to the temperature of light you need.

That's is a great deal, $9 for a brand name light. Can not go wrong with that deal.
