Hello,

Just bought a new house and have already had 4 different utility installers drip oil onto my driveway. Someone at work recommended sealing, as it would make the spills much easier to clean and also leave a less noticeable stain.

As I started to do research, I realized just how many different types of sealers are out there. That's why I would like to get everyone's advice and recommendation.

The concrete was poured about a year ago and has never been sealed. Below is a list of the traits I would like, if possible. I also don't mind paying a little extra to get something good.

-As clear as possible
-Good against oil drips (very important)
-DIY friendly

You do realize that it is not a 'once and forget' project? Annual or bi-annual at best.

No etching required, but it should be reasonably clean before sealing, you mentioned oil spots as I recall, clean with Dawn dishwashing soap, and water jet or pressure wash the rest and wait until it's dry.
