Lol! What makes you the judge, jury, and executioner? Maybe look at a larger screen and if you still can't see any spalling in the original images, you should heed your own advice and stop posting opinions.......
Well let's analyze this.
When reading these posts, I try to remain nutruel and give the best opinion/advice that I can. The OP in this case showed quite a few pictures with most of them not showing much damage. He also showed what he called a crack on some other concrete that wasn't a crack. That's the start of a red flag for me but I kept it to myself other than explaining to him what it really was. At no point did I say it wasn't bad workmanship but to pin it on someone from my chair, God knows how far from me, doesn't sound justified.
So let's anylize this some more.
I used words like "don't really show" "not a crack" and "premature wear and tear"
You use words and phrases like, "peeling and delamination" "clearly see" "win a court case" "superficial crack" "salt doesn't hurt good concrete"
Now after reading this, I'm the judge, jury and executioner?
Interesting.
I've been doing concrete my whole adult life. I've seen customers who power wash their own concrete.... that after a couple of years, it looks like its 10 years old or better.
Now let's talk about salt. I have a pretty large place on salt water. I've been doing beach concrete bulkheads for a long time. If you think salt doesn't hurt GOOD concrete than you need to educate yourself on salts damaging effects on concrete.
Looking at the pictures and reading the descriptions, it could have been a rained out pour and then they troweled in the moisture creating a weak finish but tough to know for sure and I didn't see other evidence that I might see of a rained out slab.
Holding your tongue on this one is most likely the best choice.
