Dresser all painted... however...

I did not realize I had to sand the dresser first... oops. The dresser is all painted now and looks fantastic however the paint scratches off. Is my only option to sand it down and paint all over again? Maria JoAnn

Sorry, but that's the only option. Prime it before putting on the top coat.
