I have a nook about 16" deep and 5' wide. I'm thinking about building two identical dressers that fit side by side with no gaps. This way they are easier to move if needed but also look like one big dresser. I have seen some that just slide on wood, but I'd like to make the drawers open and close with ease, for the life of the dresser. I'm thinking about side mount or double under mount slides. The drawers will probably be 28 to 30 inches wide. Which ones are easier to install and work with?

Side mount is way easier to install. Make your drawers one inch smaller than the opening to allow room for the slides
