Hi!
We're starting the process of excavating (apprx. 3 1/2 ft.) down, around
the perimeter of our foundation.
We're going to water-proof the wall and add drain tile (with gravel).
Is there any major difference between using corrugated plastic or
PVC pipe (both have holes on the top, both will have "fabric")?
I'd post pictures: but you don't want to see - we're "Hand-Digging it!!

either will work well at that depth,,, use NOTHING from the apron store for waterproofing the footer & walls UNLESS its trowel grade ( we like meadows or sonneborn ) the pipe MUST run to daylight & gravity drain otherwise you're just building a drywell about your very fine home's foundation & walls.

Hand-Digging pics would be fine IF we can look down her shirt :thumbup:

No, not "cretins" or "cretans" -
back in the day (a while ago) - "cretums" that was the reference that the concrete workers (who were my friends and compatriots - I was one of them).
That's how we referred to ourselves! (It was an appellation of respect,
and acknowledgement! - guess what, we knew what "Cretins" were!).
(Who cares what "google" or "wikipedia" says - you had to be there)
How's that for spelling!
