I am just about to start a loft conversion. To get the height for the shower in the bathroom I plan to put the shower in the dormer window. Has anyone else done this or have any ideas for it. It's the logistics of the privacy of the window and yet still keeping the light into the room. The window will be obscured glass, but you will still be able to see when the light is on. I don't really like shower curtains and still want access to the window.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Holly

Try Googling "window film".

How are you going to protect the window and wall from all of the water? A window in a shower is a poor idea at best and can lead to major rot, mold, and water damage.
You really want to do a lot of research on this and think it through thoroughly.

Add a Graphic

By adding a graphic to the window you can obscure views in and still get lots of light and from close up be able to see out if you like.

In the past window graphics have mainly been for commercial purposes, but some companies will custom cut graphics in frost and other privacy window films for residential installation, the effect can be very beautiful as well as effective.
