Doorbell fon

Anybody has the doorbell fon system? I'm trying to figure out how to connect the phone lines.

It's pretty straight forward. Do you have any complications like a dsl modem or something?

Disconnect the main phone line where it enters the junction box (box where all your house phones are connected). Connect the main phone line to the doorbell fon. Run another line from the phone out slot on doorbell fon and run it to the junction box.

Then you haven't got the MAIN line. You need the main line which enters the junction box before it splits off into the other phone lines. If it's an apartment then you may or may not be able to gain access to the main line to your unit.
