Anyone know if Gardz has to be topcoated within a certain amount of time like traditional latex primers (3-4 weeks) before it needs to be reprimed? It’s not stated on the label.

Excellent if that’s the case. I have seen it mentioned on other websites, and this can of SW extreme bond states must be topcoated within 14 days. Maybe they are just trying to cover themselves from warranty perspective in event someone primes their kitchen then fries chicken every day for two weeks before painting.

Yeah, I’m sure it’s just to cover their butts. I’ve left walks unpainted with primer on for 6 months, maybe longer. No problems.

Primer on the exterior can degrade with exposure but about all that will happen to primer on the interior is it can get dirty. I doubt that would be an issue with Gardz.
