Just finishing setup of toilet drain mand now I'm wondering if its code that I use an actual closet bend or can I just have it flow down through a 1 ft pc, 90, then drain stack (mini) ?

EDIT- Researched a bit and looks like ok to drop straight down from toilet with 3" for a 1' until a 90 degree bend

If anyone knows differently please let me know

The closet elbow is designed to RUSH THE FLUSH past the potential clog point that a 90 causes.

So I would use the closet elbow.
