just moved to a home that has a sump pump that works but has no backup power , this isnt a flood zone but has a high water table in lake hiawatha nj , what is a good sump pump with a backup thats not too pricey and should i go with a battery or water power backup and how difficult are they to install?

I doubt you'll find an electric pump with integral back-up and the computer style UPS units don't create an alternating current suitable for operation of a motor or provide the required in-rush current. Unless you're planning on being home with a typical portable generator, you'll likely need one of these.
