Is there a rule of thumb for how far a directional register can be expected to reasonably distribute air?
The problem revolves around a duct that, because of framing issues, must be pointed down. It will be 8 ft. high and at the extreme edge of a 13 foot wide room. There will be a ceiling fan in the center of the room.
Is a 13 ft. wide room too wide for this setup?
