I have these strips under my cabinets for lighting. The problem is they are too bright (we are wanting a low light effect rather than work light). I have a DC 12v 1m transformer powering them, but I am thinking a potentiometer inline would allow me to dial in the exact brightness without having to figure out exact resistance. I have different lengths of these running as some of my upper cabinets are next to each other and I can daisy-chain them, and some are short cabinets with a 24" string on them; thus I figured a potentiometer at each transformer would allow me to dial them in.
First question, is this doable?
Second, how do I figure out what ohm potentiometer should I need?
Thanks,
Jay
