I was doing some basement work the other day and discovered that old spray foam insulation (Maybe 5 years old, not exposed to sunlight, or artificial light for that matter.)
had deteriorated and crumbled under light finger pressure.
Wondering if this is typical of one brand of spray foam, a defective formula, or some other factor.
Anyone else had this experience?
Thanks,
Rob

Spray Foam Deterioration

WoW,
Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, Although I was the one who did the original work, I don't recall the specific brand of product.
I only recall that it was a standard Walmart/Lowes aerosol can, likely 16 to 24 ounce capacity.
