Dent filling for engineered hardwood flooring

Try laying a wet sponge on the dents, sometimes water will swell the substrate enough to force the dent to pop back up.

May leave the sponge on the dent for an hour or so, to give it time to absorb water.

This is inexcusable behavior, should have laid hardboard sheets down first to protect the fine flooring.

As stated get your homeowners insurance in the mix, they will do all the legal crap to get their money back from the SCAB.
