I bought a Ryobi in the 90s it was nice while it lasted then we just put the drums in the drill press. Do you have a particular use for it.

Every time I need to sand a curved piece I tell myself I’m going to buy one. I have a couple of motors lying around and was planning on trying to make one some time.

Watch for a deal on a 6x48 belt sander, you will find more uses for it.

I have a heavy industrial quality sander like Nealtw showed. On the side it has a 9” disc. I bought it at an auction long ago for nearly nothing. For the spindle sander in question, $100 would be the top of my offer and only if I had a substantial use for it.
