I purchased and installed the replacement cartridge, yet when I turned the water supply back on, I am unable to control water flow using the faucet handle. Water continues to flow thru the shower head regardless of the handle position.

My first suggestion is, something is not installed correctly. Recheck everything!!! It is possible that the new cartridge is defective, but I doubt that.
