what do i need to install the self regulating deicing heating cable in my gutters.

I use a deicing cable. I have a GFCI installed near the downspout. It plugs in there and runs up the spout and along the trough.
All my outside receptacles are controlled by a switch inside the house.
I plug my Christmas lights into the same receptacle and can turn them off and on if need be.
