I built a cedar deck a little over a year ago. I sealed it with a cedar toned sealer. It's starting to look a little weathered. I was wondering if I needed to clean it or strip it with something before sealing it again. I was thinking of going with a darker color and want to make sure it can penetrate through the old sealer. Thx

What kind of stain did you use? If your doing a maintence coating you would just clean and re stain with the same product, but if you are doing a change in color over a translucent or semi-translucent you will have to strip the old stain off first.
