I have a 14' diameter hole in a large concrete slab with sand in it. Need ideas for cover for it when AG pool isn't up. Otherwise it turns into the worlds larges litter box. Cost is a factor but tarps just look junky and wind shifts them. Floating deck sounds nice but could use cost saving ideas. Even ideas for some type of lid. Not an area that is used other than when pool is up. Thanks in advance to anyone with ideas.

Those are for floor drains, and the sizes run in the inches. I'm pretty sure the OP needs a 14 foot cover to cover the bigass hole for his above ground pool.

OP, why not just get a regular old pool cover and sink some anchors into your concrete deck?
Oops I read inches. :biggrin2:Thank you

Three 5' X 15' wire mesh panels will cover it and set up on a few bricks I doubt if Miss Kitty would like it for a potty and I also doubt the wind would have an effect on them.
The pit will still collect dirt, and blown trash from the neighborhood.

Maybe build wooden framework in removable sections, and use 1 inch mesh screening as the filler in the framework.

Or spend the money on 24X24 pavers, and lay them over it every fall, and stack them up in a corner in summer, for use again after pool season.

Rig the pool cover over the hole.
Rig a giant hula-hoop from 3/4 PVC , it can be softened to bend slightly, with a heat source.

Then place the pool cover over the hoop, with elastic band.

Easily lifted and stored in season.

In use it might need weighted down, or you could use U-bolts, on the edges, pressed into the ground.
