I have an existing 3 way with power going to sw1, 14/2 going to light fixtures, and 14/3 going to other 3 way sw2. I find that I want to add a light fixture near sw2 to be controlled with the other lights in the 3 way.

The R and W wires are travelers and the B wire goes between the odd colored terminal screws (Point?). I was told that I could pull in another neutral wire into the sw2 box and extend it to new light fixture. I assume the neutral wire is desired to come from the same circuit. If all ok so far, does the light's W wire get wired to the new neutral and the lights B wire gets hooked to the point with the other black?

You can not just pull in a neutral wire. The neutral must be in the same cable with the other wires. You must pull in a new cable or wire you new light fixture to one of the other fixtures.
