I am preparing to install 400 square feet of Decora Stone pavers need to calculate for base stone using 1/4 minus with fines. how much will it compact using a plate compactor? I live in southwest desert no freeze and very dry humidity
I would get 5 yards of 1/4 minus and 1.5 - 2 yards of sand. 5 yards should give u about 4" of dense grade base and then about 1" of sand to set the pavers on.
