Have a dc90 that at times burner does not ignite. Replaced igniter already,when I removed to clean one of the elements broke. Furnace seems to work okay when above 50 but below burner ignition comes on and other times not at all. Last week it never worked at all and Saturday outside temps went to 60 and furnace worked all weekend until tonight. Any help appreciated. I have read all posts here last week to try to fix this issue and one thing I have seen this is a great forum.

Can you elaborate on DC-90 for those of us that dont have all the models down? Carrier?

It is a Tempstar,I believe made by Heil. Forgot to mention igniter works okay and has a good pilot light when furnace starts up but burners will not light.

Have you cleaned the trap out and checked the pressure switch?

Will do tonight. Drain line runs into garage and is pvc. Will be easy to cut and re-splice. Will let you know. Thanks in advance. Another thing I found is when burner does not come on you can shut furnace down for 15 minutes or so and when restarting burner will come on.

I found this very extensive post on this furnace. I seem to remember Yuri saying that the flame hood on these warps, and that might be your problem. Maybe he will chime in and help you, I am too green. But here is the link:
