Helping a friend paint a bathroom. She removed some wall paper and there are multiple damaged spots on the wall. The paint underneath is about 25 years old and is a flat white orange peel that seems very hard and durable. I was going to use GARDZ on the exposed paper. Question: Since the wall has so many places like this, can I GARDZ the whole wall of will the GARDZ have problems adhering to the original paint that is present around all the bad places?

Also, the walls have been scrubbed well. I know GARDZ helps seal any residue from the wallpaper adhesive. I should have included that the other walls have some damage as well just not from wallpaper. I will spot repair as needed on those walls. Main question is would it be ok to GARDZ all of the walls while I am at it? Would that not only seal the adhesive, mend the brown paper, seal the areas that have been repaired with joint compound and prime all with one product? Could it be that easy? Just kidding!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Perfectly fine. I do it all the time, especially after removing wallpaper that leaves drywall damage and also to seal in any leftover adhesive which is exactly the situation you have. Only thing I would do besides what you are doing is to sand as much adhesive off before you apply the GARDZ. It just makes for a better job, IMO.
