Cutting Real Old Fiberglass Tub

Just got off the phone with my Dad. He just bought an older house (early 1950ish) and he was telling me that he was removing a fiberglass bath tub yesterday. He said that he cut it in half to make it easier to handle. Shortly after he said that he was hit with complete body shakes and still feels really crappy.

Do you guys think this is symptoms of just inhaling fiberglass or something more?
