Ave to cut two slots in a PVC fence post...about 4"x2" ..for top and bottom rail. Company who installed out fence put a end post not a corner post thinking we were. It going to make a 90 and continue the fence at some point ....well we are lol.... The company said we can install a bracket or just cut the opening.

What tool and blade would I use for this? Thanks..

What are you calling an end post?Any post on a corner or end I call terminal posts.
Either way ,you hired a fence company to build the fence and they expected you to do this? There has to be more to this story and you have my attention?

Either way .To answer your question the best way would be to make a template from some 1/2" material, clamp it to the post and route it out Straight bit with a top mounted bearing to follow the template.
