Cutting Porcelain Tiles

I redid one of the bathrooms and am up to installing the floor tiles. T
he short version is -- I purchased a Ridgid Diamond Edge Blade to cut the tiles. I put it on my table saw, but when I turn the saw on the blade warps, and tends to chip the tiles. I know that I am not exceeding the max rpm's for the blade. So, what's the problem?
