Is there a trick to cutting bead board? I'm afraid just ripping it will leave jagged edges and such. maybe scoring it with a utility knife? Thanks

Always rip on a table saw with the finished side up.For rips with a circular saw, finished side down.

Thanks, guys. I was using a jig saw with a fine tooth blade. I duct taped where I wanted to cut and it did a fine job. No rips or splinters. thanks again for the replies.
