Circular saw with the blade backwards.

#1 Please post a picture and more detail of what your trying to deal with.
#2, Will a "saber saw" AKA jig saw sort of cut it yes, will it make a straight cut and make the cut all the way through with no burrs, not likely.
#3, Will a cross cut hand saw do it yes, just plan on having the blade resharpened after doing it.

That is perfect for the backward blade trick on a circular saw. That used to be the recommended way to cut vinyl siding.

If you don't have a 'plywood blade', there are now vinyl cutting circular saw blades, which are fairly cheap. They're too thin and flexible for cutting anything else, but for under 10 bucks, that could be the best option, especially if you don't need the regular fine woodcutting blade for anything.
