I am finishing my basement and I would like some help with the electrical layout. I feel I am capable of installing the wiring but I would like someone to give me a layout showing where the switches and receptacles would be located (I had a lighting store layout the can light locations). And, which wires (2 wire, 3 wire or 4 wire) need to be run from each item. I plan to pay for this service but I need to know who offers this and the quality of the end result.

Thanks in advance!

So you are asking for every last detail on how to do this job, and you are willing to pay for this service? WHY not just hire an electrician?

By the time someone takes the time to lay all this out they could have wired it themselves.

Receptacles are 6' from doorways (including closets) and every 12' apart from each other. Lighting is up to u where u want them. Switches are by entrances. As far as 3ways and 4ways go, that iis up to u. Basement stairs that have 6 or more steps require a 3way switch
