Hello All,
I am in the process of laying out and constructing a small stage for a childs room and I am contemplating on how I should frame it. There is a curve and the dimensions do not equal out to a perfect square. I am thinking to cut out the curve on the ply and then cut the joists to match the curve leaving a small overhang. Then just mark the angle and cut the joists to fit. I also want to wrap it with some sort of plywood and seeing as it is so small I thought of using a 1/4" ply as it should be able to bend the way I need it. I attached a drawing of the stage and if anyone has any ideas that might help please let me know. I have framed floors before but never any with a curve. Thanks for your time in my question!
