Spark Plug? Filter dirty? That's what I would check first. Also, some PW's have low oil shutdown features so you may be low on oil & it's shutting down automatically.

Sounds like a fuel issue.... Check the fuel filter and air filters first. If it's old gas, dump it and put new gas in too. Give the carb a good squirt with a carb cleaner too, especially if it's been sitting for a while with the old gas in it.

Check the inbound water filter too. If there is insufficient water flow the machine will stop. The water is on when you start it right? Not being insulting but sometimes we forget the little things.
