Hi everyone,

I have a small crack on the inside of my dryer on the trim/molding near the door. The crack caused a small gap and clothes actually get caught inside of the gap (ruining them).

Is there any kind of caulk material that could withstand the heat of a dryer without catching on fire? Any suggestions on how to fix this?

If that were mine I'd consider drilling ( if possible ) a very small hole at the end of the crack to aid in no further cracking, cleaning the area well, apply JB Weld and sand smooth any ruff areas after 24 hours curing time.
