I cannot for the life of me figure out how to successfully cut cove base to fit inside and outside corners.
Does anyone have a dummy way to create the quality look?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!:whistling2:

Get yourself a good folding protractor to measure each corner, inside or outside. This will save a lot of time and scrap. If you want to go to the extreme of coping a profile duplicator will be of help as well.
I learned here it is helpful to precut and mark several inside and outside angle samples from scrap and pair them up as you work.
Also borrowed a power nailer with great fast results. Will NEVER use the hammer again on molding. Leaves only tiny holes, almost no touch up ....WOW loved it so much I bought my own for future.

I was referring to the poly stuff you put on with adhesive. No probs with molding...Def have to use the nailer!

Cove base is tricky at the bottom b/c you have to taper. Looking for an easier way...heck any way to do it easily.

Thanx in advance:whistling2:

All I can say is Trim has never been my favourite since my hasty wife first painted latex over oil in half the house :furious: so after that painful past it's been good to find a few pointers and yes I got them here. Thanks
