Paint does not last well on countertops, and i wonder about it being safe for food prep.

Well, the thing is, mine are painted or faux finished from the previous owner. We plan on redoing the entire kitchen in a few years and this product is not really a paint per say.

Save your money. You don't want this stuff in your food.
