Why is my copper tubing plumbing turning green
Because it is oxidizing, probably from the acids or flux used when solidering the joints originally. With copper yard ornaments or copper roofs or copper gutters and downspouts the green is actually prefferable and in those cases is called "patina". The green is usually harmless and nothing to concern yourself over.

and how can i resolve this issue?
Why would you want to?:)

Like Bud said--not a worry. Wash the pipe with soap and water and a green scrub pad if the look bothers you--otherwise it's harmless.

thanks ....I have been told by others that it was because it was eating the copper tubing from the inside out...I have been worried I would have to replace all my plumbing with that new plastic plumbing..whew!!!
