i'm trying to re-wire a tv cable behind a wall, i need to make a single cable fit a double socket box thingy. i tried to cut back to the copper wire and twist it all together, then electrical tape it. but i was told the tv would get interference! any help floating about?

Step 1
Separate the wires that are to be tied together.
Step 2
Strip approximately ¼-inch to 3/8-inch of insulation off each wire. This should be enough to fit into the wire connector.
Step 3
Insert all the wires into the center of the connector.
Step 4
Twist the connector around the wires until they bottom out in the connector.
Step 5
Check to make sure each wire is securely in place and will not pull out when tugging on the wire. Use a Splitter to make 2

I noticed the OP is not in the states. I do not know if they use the same connectors as we do here with coax so:


bramwell, if the info 300zx gave you answers your questions, great. If it doesn't say so and we'll try to figure out the fix for those in England.
