Any suggestions for good connectors for a low voltage landscape lighting system? Started off with the Malibu style that mostly work by 'piercing' the cable. They seemed to fail after a few years. The last thing I've tried were these

They do seem to have an excellent design.
Just don't know how long they might last.

Looks like a Wago in a gel pack. Nice but expensive. I use gel filled wire nuts.

I also only use gel filled wire nuts. Never had an issue with them.

I've used those gel filled nuts as well.
They seem to be holding.
Thanks for the pointer to those Wago's.
I've used their push-in connectors.
The ones with push down levers look even better.

Well, nobody suggested those 'piercing' style connectors.
I believe I've got all of mine replaced now.

I've had Malibu low voltage lighting on my house since about 1981. I've always used the pierce type connectors but in the last few years have been plagued with failures. I decided to just remove them and solder the light fixture connections instead. Problem solved.

Do you tape the connections? Or heat shrink?

I'm using heat shrink tubing. So far, and it's been a few years since I started doing this, no more failures.
