I understand it sounds backward, but is it possible to connect a portable washing machine to a standard laundry hookup?

I assume a "Y" mixer hose would be needed. Anything else?

Sure you can.

Why a mixer Y? Doesnt the portable have a hot and a cold???? It has to. How else could you wash colored and wool stuff ?????
