I have a drain in my laundry room next to hot water heater and ac unit. Water is backing up there. Only from my kitchen sink now. I used a main line chemical cleaner in the drain thats filling up. Also in bathtub. NO backing up anywhere in home. Now my kitchen sink is draining but this floor drain backs up when I use kitchen sink??? I have no main line clean out. Home was built in 1962. ANY IDEAS would be great!!! Thank you

First thing is never use a drain cleaner. No anyone having to try and snake this is going to have to deal with a toxic chemical.
Some place in those lines your going to see a plug in a tee that's you clean out.
What type pipes do you have.
Where have you tryed to snake it?
Did you remove the trap and pipe going to the wall before snaking?
Got any pictures of that floor drain area?
City sewer, septic?

Call a Plumber before you start renting machines etc, call companies that will quote you over the phone, let them take care of it. take a look at how and why and maybe next time you'll have a little better idea on how to tackle this type of DIY job. no chemicals,, unless your home was re piped its probably cast iron old cast iron at its lifes end, you did more damage than good, also make sure you tell who ever comes out you put acid in that line.
