Conduit Bonding In Main Panel

847 Views 6 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Pharon
I have a connector on my service pipe conduit to accept a ground wire.

Please see pic attached. Does it get bonded to the neutral bar as indicated or should it go down to one of the ground bars lower in the panel?

Thanks,
Pugsy

I would leave the larger lugs for larger conductors. Is that conduit metallic?
Is this panel the first disconnect or a sub panel? If first disconnect, it doesn't matter. If sub, connect to ground bar.

Yes, metal conduit.

Main panel, not sub.
Since this is a new panel, for purely appearance sake, I would treat one bar as neutral and the other as ground. They are both bonded together so electrically they are the same.
