I just had a home inspection done and the inspector noted the following for the a condensate drain over the washing machine nozzle. What would be the best solution for this? What are the costs? and does it seem to be leaking? I read online that it shouldn't leak, but the nozzle looks fairly corroded like it has.

It appears to be PVC pipe. There are at least 2 fixes-
Use 2- 45 degree fittings and offset the pipe along the side of your washer hose and align it to the stand pipe.
Or use 2- 90 degree elbows.
Another option is to find another receptor to drain it to, but that probably isn't feasible at this stage.
The line will drip if it is a condensate line from heating/cooling equipment in your attic.
If it is a pan drain then you need to determine why a normally dry pan has water in it.
Actually, since this is a new house to you, I suggest you get familiar with what that pipe is hooked to :wink2:
