I have a sunken porch. I would either like to add a step on top of it or more likely put a concrete cap over the whole porch. It is roughly 4 feet wide and 3 feet long and 8 inches to get on.

its rare that adding dead weight resolves poor soil compaction however there are liteweight repair mtls that would work satisfactorily - then can be placed at 1/8" minimum & 1" unextended max depth,,, they are NOT avail in any apron/vest store, however,,, find them at pro const supply houses
