I'm renovating the garage and have two ground wires (one pictured below) beneath grade in the floor located near the breaker panel. Is it OK to cement over these wires in preparation for an epoxy floor covering, or does the wire need to be accessible for some reason?

No problem assuming the clamp is tight. It appears to be a code legal clamp and wire combo and need not be accessible once inspected and approved.

It should be supported and protected above grade if exposed to abuse.

BTW... Wow, an epoxy coated garage floor is a luxury most mortals never get!

I have actually carpeted my 2-car garage except for a cut out for the car on one side. It's my man cave and nothing is too good for the cave man!:biggrin2:

Thanks for the feedback on the electrical. Carpeted garage? Never heard of that. Reminds me of the insurance commercial where the guy has a carpeted shower, lol. I'm just trying to make the garage a nice shop. Recessed lights, tiling the half walls, etc. I considered tile for the floor but I like the look of the epoxy. Found a good company with 10 year warranty. I did get some tile samples from the company that did the new Mercedes shop down the road. Still didn't get a price but it is probably in the ballpark of epoxy. They use a metal (aluminum?) transition on entry into the garage instead of bullnose witih their tiles. Not sure if it matters...
