I recently had my foundation repaired and had to have the inside of my home jacked up, I have three holes in my home that were filled with concrete and tile flooring has to go back over them, but the new concrete is slightly higher than the existing floor and the new concrete is too rough for the tile floor to stick properly, how can I make the concrete level and more smooth? I cannot afford a concrete grinder and we are talking about three spaces that measure three feet by three feet. Can someone suggest an affordable solution?

Thanks
