Besides the fact that the three day job is already at five days and one day they didn't even show, some things about the guy I've hired to do the drywall work on my kitchen remodel is bothering me.
He says the walls are ready to be textured, but I wonder. He states the outside corners around the window above the sink don't need a corner bead, just tape. I disagree since there were corner beads there when we took the kitchen apart.
I can see the tape through the mud on all the inside corners. Only one coat? He states that's ok because the texture will cover it. What about strength? And, if that's the case, why not do the same on all joints.
A little advice from the pros would greatly be appreciated.
